Question 1: Do you have clearance sales? If so, how do they work?

We occasionally mark select items for final sale, thus providing you with exceptional deals on our luxurious silk products. Please note, these items are not eligible for return, exchange, or price adjustment.

Question 2: How do I view my order status?

We will send you three confirmation emails that together give you clarity on the status of your order through the delivery process:
Email #1 - informs you that we have received your order.
Email #2 - tells you that the goods have left our warehouse and about to be shipped.
Email #3 - provides the tracking number so you can anticipate delivery accurately

Question 3: When will I see the refund in my bank account for returned goods?

On receiving your return at our offices: We check the returned goods to ensure there's no damage. We cannot refund for damaged merchandise. Providing that's the case, we will execute a refund within 14 days of the return date. As soon as we complete our side of the refund as per (2) above, we will confirm it via email.

Question 4:Under what circumstances can I return goods for a refund?

We are willing to exchange or accept returns for any TAKEI bamboo product(s) as long as the item(s) is still in its original packaging and you provide proof of purchase. Please be sure to request it as an exchange/ return within 30 days of delivery, also ensuring that you send the goods back to our Corporate Headquarters. Also note, transportation handling costs for any merchandise redirected to us as described above are your responsibility (i.e., the purchaser). Question 5: Is my credit information safe?

You bet. We store all our customers’ credit details with a recognized professional 3rd-party payment processor that encrypts the received data for complete security. We do not store it in any shape or form on the TAKEI site.

Question 6: How is the information I give TAKEI used?

We only use your information as a reference for future orders or in cases where you return a product for exchange. It's up to you to opt for our email updates, reminders, and news on cool promos and sales. You can opt out at any time at your convenience.

Question 7: Why don't you manufacture in the US?

Our commitment to provide the finest quality organic clothing makes harvesting the bamboo and manufacturing our clothing in the same location a must. Indeed, it's an economic and environmental imperative aligned with our core objective to better the global community and show that green living matters. It goes without question that the TAKEI brand rejects any semblance of connection to sweatshops and child labor.

Question 8: How do I take care of my new TAKEI products?

We recommend a cold-water wash for our products and tumble-dry on low. It saves on energy and ensures the longest possible life for your clothes, especially for anything that contains elastane.

Question 9: Why isn't my promo code working?

There may be limitations and restrictions affecting your code. Please check and double-check the fine print. You'll likely find that one of the following is the issue: Some codes are only for first-time customers. Promo codes usually exclude already discounted items. You can only apply one promo code per order. The promo code has already expired. For any further help, please send us an email to - [email protected]

Question 10: When will my order ship?

Your order will arrive within 5 to 10 business days from the date that they leave our warehouse. Please allow for an additional 24 hours for us to process your order.

Question 11: My package was marked as delivered, but I didn't receive it. Why?

On occasion tracking information is incorrect. Your package will most likely turn up within a few days. It's also possible a neighbor received your package in error. If you can't locate your delivery after three business days from the time of seeing a "delivered" notification, please reach out to us for help.

Question 12: What is your return and exchange policy?

If you order something from us and need a different size or don't love it, rest assured that we have FREE U.S. RETURNS & EXCHANGES for unwashed and unworn items. Please email us at [email protected] with your order number. Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange. Please note - due to contractual agreements, we cannot complete the return or exchange of items purchased at one of our retail partners. Note: we offer 1 return shipping labels per order.  Please try to process all returns/ exchanges from the same order together.  For multiple orders please go through the returns portal for each order number.  Items from separate orders shipped back together will not be processed. Items sent back outside of this process will not be processed and cannot be recovered.

Question 13: How long will it take for my exchange to be sent to me?

Items in new, unwashed, and unworn condition can be exchanged up to 60 days after purchase. Please email us at [email protected] with your order number. After the item is delivered back to us, your requested exchange item(s) will ship out. You’ll receive a tracking email when it’s on the way! Exchanges will ship to the original shipping address with our standard 3 - 7 day shipping method. You’ll have the option to edit your shipping address once you submit the exchange. Be sure to do this before you ship out your item (once shipped we cannot change the address).

Question 14: You're out of a particular size and color that I like. What do I do?

We apologize. Seasonal changes or high-demand are often root causes. Please use the “notify me when back in stock feature” located on the right side of the page, to receive an email notification once we restock. You can also subscribe to our emails so that you can stay up to date on all things TAKEI. ·

Question 15: Why Do You Use Bamboo versus Organic cotton?

You may read that organic cotton possesses substantial benefits, but corroborative documentation indicates that Bamboo fabrics outperform Organic Cotton in almost every crucial category as follows.

Question 16: When will my order ship?

Your order will be processed within 24 hours of placing it. Typically, packages arrive within 5-10 business days after we ship. We ship from different global facilities using DHL, FedEx Ground or USPS. Please note, orders may be delayed due to supply chain delays.
